From Pop-Ups to Catering
Freebirds Kitchen began in the back of Devil May Care Brewing Co. where we hosted our first bannock burger pop-ups and shared home-cooked comfort food with anyone who came through the doors. What started as a small idea quickly grew into a pow wow food stand later that year. With the support of our community, we followed our passion and expanded into catering, bringing Indigenous comfort food to events, gatherings, and celebrations across Winnipeg and Treaty 3.
